The tables below give information about sales of Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004 in five European countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

A glance at the graph provided reveals number of sales coffee and bananas on officially agreed fair price in five various European countries. Unit is measured by millions of euros.

One particularly interesting fact highlighted by the first table is that sales of coffee in every country rose, from 1999 to 2004. It is obvious, that Switzerland had the number of coffee sales twice as in UK in 1999. However, the amount of sales of coffee in UK skyrocketed to 20 millions while Switzerland was on the second place with 6 millions of sales. The least amount of sales in both years was in Sweden.

With regards to the second table, UK, Belgium, Sweden and Denmark have some striking similarities in the number of bananas' sales in 1999. While sales in Sweden and Denmark decreased at 1 millions and 0.9 milllions in 2004, respectively, sales in Belgium, UK, Switzerland rapidly increased at 4 millions, 5.5 millions and 47 millions in the same year, correspondingly.

To sum up, Switzerland had the most number of sales in both coffee and bananas in 1999.
