Topic: The graph below shows the proportion of types of magazines sold by the company in 1975, 1995 and 2015.
The graph illustrates the percentage of genres of magazines, including sports, food, fashion, health, and others sold by an enterprise in three years 1975, 1995, and 2015.
As can be seen, it is apparent that sports magazines were the most dominant, gaining popularity among readers throughout the examined period. In contrast, almost all genres of magazines underwent a dramatic decline after rising rocketly.
Looking at the chart, the ratio of sports newspapers took the lead, accounting for over a third and more than three folders compared to the ratio of food in 1975. In the next 20 years, the sales figure for sports magazines witnessed a tiny increase of approximately 5% and then continued to grow to reach roughly the peak. Noticeably, the figure for food newspapers experienced a rocket growth to reach the highest point merely 23% in 1995 before plummeting to similar proportions in the first year of the period.
Turning to fashion and health areas, both of them showed an impressive portion in 1995, making up around 23% for the former and 27% for the latter. Over the two decades, the two ratios underwent a significant decrease. There was only a tiny percentage of fashion magazines in 2015, while after declining a folder, the sales figure for health newspapers remained stable for the rest of the period. Meanwhile, the proportion of the others fluctuated considerably and finally bounded back to the same proportion as the first year merely 25%.
