A family member is coming to stay with you. He/she will be arriving by train in the morning, but you won’t be home until the evening. Write a letter to your relative. In your letter:
– explain the arrangements you have made for them to get keys and enter the house
– tell your relative how to get from the train station to your house
– say when you will be home and suggest what you could do together that evening
Dear uncle Jack,
It was a great pleasure to hear that you are finally coming to visit me. My mother told me that you will be coming by morning train on 15th Saturday. I just wanted to write this few words to you to let you know that due to some urgent work in my office I won't be able to come to the station to pick you up. But, don't worry. I've already made arrangements for you to get the keys and also one of my friends will be coming to pick you.
I believe you still remember Tom who was with me at the school. He was the guy with curly hair and a well-built body. We played rugby last time you visited us and he is still same and it won't be hard for you to recognize him. I will send his contact number and his car plate number in case you want to contact him.
Well, about the keys, I will be hiding the keys under the flower pot which is residing under the mango tree in front of the house. It won't be hard to find and please make sure to be comfortable at home. I will arrange to deliver lunch and evening snacks as well.
I will be reaching home around 4.00 pm and we both can go to nearby restaurant for dinner and hopefully Tom and a few of my other friends will join us. It would be great if you could bring your guitar. So we can sing and get some fun.
That's all for now. Looking forward to seeing you!
Take care,
Pathum
