I am writing to request to change my department from accounting to audit assurance. Although I am satisified with the work environment in our organisaion, I do not want to continue my current job which involves a lot of repetivite tasks.
There is limited growth potentional as an accounting clerk as most of the work is very basic and any fresh graduate can do it easily. I feel like there is a glass ceiling and I might not move forward in my carrier by doing the same job.
If I move to audit and assurance department, it will help me to grow professionally and enhance company performance. Last year, when I was a part of audit team, I enjoyed it a lot and my manager remarks was; because of your enegertic input, we able to complete most of tasks before deadline.
