Dear John,
Hope you are doing well.
I am writing this letter to tell you something interesting about my country India. I am aware that you are always excited to know and get familiar regarding the culture and people here. Recently, an event held in my province that was highlighted on the front page of a renowned newspaper, The Tribune. I was waiting from past few days to narrate that story to you.
You might be aware of the protest that farmers are doing to save their land and occupation from private companies. Yesterday, a 80 year old man who was unable to stand or walk, also showed up at the protest site to save his fields. This showcased the love and attachment that farmers carry for their farms. Several videos went viral internationally within few minutes on various platform such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp groups th motivated around thousand's of people to come and fight for their rights. None of them want to loose their income that is based on farming, as 90% of the population in my province is dependent on it.
My father, brother, and I also took part in that strike after watching that video, as that video of old man put a remarkable impact on our minds and encouraged us to be a part of it. Someone have said that "Together we can win" that is 100% true .
I hope it will be a quite inspiring story for you. Hope to listen some news or story about your country.
Thank you.
Regards,
Karamdeep kaur.
