Hi Nick,
Hope you are doing really well. As you asked for, I would detail a massive event going on in my country for some time and which I think would be very informative for you.
To begin with, for the last couple of months there has been quite an unrest and outrage among the people especially the youth. Its regarding One country and Two systems, due to which there have been lots of protests going on here causing great deal of destruction and disruptions in everyone's day to day lives.
As expected, more and more people are getting involved in these protests, and quite understandably so as they think their independence is getting jeopardized in a severe way. This cause is quite sacred to them as they feel passionately for their country and would do anything to save its motherland.
Honestly, I personally have a very neutral take on this as I try to understand both sides' perspectives. Though I support the cause with the people, I also understand where this idea is coming from and what main benefits it can bring to this country.
In conclusion, I would just say that this news is just getting bigger and getting international attention too. Moreover,This event has the potential to change the history of the country. Do let me know if you would want to know more. I would be happy to share with you.
