You have learned from a new article that a real estate company is going to build a shopping center near your home. However, you think that the shopping center should not be built there. Write a letter to the city counsellor.
In your Letter :
- Say how you learned about the plan
- Explain how it is going to affect the residential area
- Say what you think the city council to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I reside at Jitodia Street in Anand and this letter is regarding an upcoming construction planned near our residential area.
While reading the “Local Samachar” newspaper dated 4th April, I came across an article advocating the positive implications of a new shopping center for the town. I welcome this move but not on the same page with the location chosen for the construction.
I reckon that this might create some issues for the people who are residing in the surrounding areas. Firstly, as the dearth of public parking space is already a burning issue in the city, this amenity will ameliorate the parking problems. Secondly, the area will become busier and the neighborhood will have to face a great degree of disturbance in their day-to-day life such as traffic jams and noise pollution.
Even though keeping in mind the importance of such infrastructures, I request you to relocate the shopping center place from the heart of the city to the outskirts. It will be a great relief for all people in my area.
Hoping for prompt action from your side.
Yours faithfully,
Ronak Patel
