Write a letter to the manager of the company. In your letter
• provide information about yourself
• give details of your previous work experience
• say why the company should consider you for the job

Dear Sir/Madam,

With regard to the advertisement in “The Hindu” daily newspaper, dated 4th July 2019 for the requirement of senior sales executive in your car showroom. I wish to apply for the same.

As mentioned in my resume, which is sent along with this letter, I am Dheepa, holding MBA in sales and marketing from Anna University. I have overall 6.5 years experience in this field of sales and currently working as sales executive in Toyota car showroom, for the past 3 years. My 1st employer was Tata motors, where I started my career as executive trainee for 1 year and promoted as sales executive.

Since my passion is in the marketing field, I was the University topper and obtained a gold medal and in my MBA and hence I have pursued my career in the same line. If the job is offered to me, I would work whole heartedly for the development of the company along with job satisfaction and enhance my career as well.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
Dheepa S
