You have a spare room in your flat or apartment and you want to rent it to a student. Write a letter to the director of the accommodation office at the local college. In your letter:

-Explain where your apartment is

-Describe the room

-What kind of person would you like to rent it to.

Dear Sir,

I am Rachel, owner of three bedroom flat near the Nirma Institue. I am writing you this letter to inform you about the availability of a room for the rent.

My apartment is at 6th lane, University road. It is a well furnished flat with facilities of maid and cook. Currently, only 2 female students are living and there is a vacancy for one more person. The room has attached bath and consist of one queen size bed, a wooden wardrobe, and a study table along with a chair. The cost of room is same for all the occupants and is non negotiable. In addition, the bills of electricity and gases will be divided among the tentants along with the society maintainence

It would be great if you could let me know about any student who is searching for the accomodation. I would prefer a college going female student. She should be mature, responsible, and a sensible tenant who maintains the property as if its her own. I do not prefer the person who does late night parties, as it would distrub the other tenants.

Looking forward for your reply.

Yours faithfully,

Richa Mahajan
