Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is XYZ and I am writing this letter to make a complaint about a bad food product which I bought from your store located near the city bus station.
Yesterday, on 21st April, I visited the supermarket to purchase some groceries, dairy products as well as some snacks. It was my parents’ anniversary and I wanted to surprise them by bringing their favorite dessert. Hence, after I finished all other shopping, I went to the dessert counter and decided to buy the carrot pudding.
However, when I reached home and open the packet, there was an unusual smell coming from the pudding and I saw a layer of fungus on the top. To be honest, it was frustrating experience for me and my plan to surprise my parents back-fired. I have been purchasing from your shop since many years, but this was the first time I faced this issue.
I am requesting you to let me know what further actions you are going to take on this matter. I hope that there will be improved quality checks from your side and customers should not deal with such problems in future.
