You travelled by plane last week and your suitcase was lost. You have still heard nothing from the airline company.
Write to the airline and explain what happened?
Describe your suitcase and tell them what was in it?
Find out what they are going to do about it?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inquire about my suitcase. It was lost while I was travelling on a flight A-220 of your airline company. This incident happened last Saturday when I was travelling from Chicago to New York. Before boarding the flight, I had deposited my suitcase at the luggage counter. However, upon landing at the destination airport, I was not able to find my suitcase. I searched for almost an hour but could not locate it. I then registered the complaint (Id# 12437) with the customer care unit. But still I have not heard anything about it.
The suitcase that I lost was black in color with the tag name American tourist on the front side. It is a medium size suitcase and made of pure leather. It contains some important documents, clothes and a few gift items.
As it has been more than a week now. I am getting bit impatient and anxious. I hope you will inform me the update of the suitcase at your earliest and sent it to my office address once found.
Thank you for your time and support.
Yours sincerely
XYZ
