Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to let you know that closing the sports and leisure center will affect the local people in many ways.
Myself and my friends are using the fitness center every morning and Some times we use the sports center and the swimming pool during the weekends which keeps us brisk, fit and healthy.
I feel that the center is more important because many young children of our apartment are practicing skating, swimming and many more sports which are available at the center. If the center is closed, their extra curricular activities will be affected drastically.
Moreover, the meeting hall at the center is quite useful for our apartment people while gathering public meetings. The hall is also used for birthday parties, wedding receptions, religious gatherings and other purposes. Though the center is closed, the people at the local community start looking for private halls which are more expensive.
I would request you to reconsider your decision on closing the center as it provides good value for the local community.
