Dear Sir/Madam,
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter with reference to the news article in Hindustan Times dated on 24th April,2021 that department is closing a sports and leisure centre. The reason for the same is just to save money which I really don't appreciate and would like to express my views on it.
We have a group of five people and our office is nearby this sports centre. So, after working hours; we go there daily and play many indoor games like badminton, table tennis, game of cards etc. It not only helps us in reliving our daily stress, but also keep us physically and mentally fit.
The sports and leisure centre is utmost important for each member of the society. Many of the senior citizens can be seen walking and jogging during morning and an evening hours in this centre. The young children and others do cycling and play cricket as well.
If in particular this centre is closed, this will have a tremendous negative impact on the soceity overall. Their routine will be affected badly.
I hope you will take above views into consideration before taking a decision.
Yours faithfully,
Prabhakar
