In recent years, it is more and more prevalent among people to discover the history of the apartments or houses they live in. This essay will elaborate on the pivotal reasons and the method by which individual can obtain information.

To start with, the most discernible driving force of this phenomenon are human’s inherent curiousness and vintage trend. Firstly, it is sufficiently apparent that human being prefers to learn about a wide array of knowledge and historical background falls firmly within this sphere. Via numerous researches, the residence will have further understanding about the past events, construction materials, ownership, land plans and the like. Furthermore, that inhabitants become interested and knowledgeable about the house’s history can engender a sense of belonging as they become more and more familiar with the building through reading about it. Moreover, in the era of vintage trend, people feel the urge to bring back vogue and appurtenance of ancient times, therefore, based on information elicited about the interior design, residence can reconstructed the apartment’s previous look.

However, there are various ways that people can use to fulfil their curiousness for historical background of their house. For instance, they can utilize the internet if they want to identify the history of their building. Besides, local library and museum are also informative sources as they mainly emphasize on neighbor. For example, in my hometown which is well-known for wood-based products, there are bookshelves specializing in carpentry.

In conclusion, as aforementioned, it is human’s curiousness and vintage trend that lead to the increased interest in discovering history of building.
