Some people believe that governments should pay full course fees for students who want to study in universities. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Concerning the issue of educational scholarship, it is widely believed that students who attend in university should be paid full course fees by the authorities. As far as I am concerned, I do partially agree with this point of view due to several reasons below.
First of all, it can be said with certainty that free tuition fees reduce the financial pressure on some unfortunate families. This is due to the fact that these pricey payments are the most challenging barriers for students to overcome for futher education. Therefore, in some developing countries, numerous students give up their dream of being undergraduates every year. Second of all, a subsequent factor could be because government's grants stimulate the spirit of students to gain further achievements in the future. For example, in Vietnam, thanks to the immediate support from the authorities, lots of unfortunate students can overcome the poverty, have a better life condition and contribute to the development of this country.
In contrast, it must be admitted that offering free tuition fees is an enormous challenge. Firstly, it costs a great deal of money the authorities spend on education. As a result, other aspects of human society such as public health or transport cannot be supported enough to improve the bad situation. Moreover, it also put many universities under the accommodations and curriculum pressure. This could be a negative aspect because there are more and more students attending in universities, which have limited positions.
Taking everything into consideration, people have to weigh up in their thoughts to what extent this issue should be supported. However, the discussions are convincing enough to lead me to the conclusion that the authorities should pay a discount in tuition fees for gifted students to participate in universities.
