Teachers should encourage their students to question everything.

Essay topics:

Teachers should encourage their students to question everything.

The issue at hand is students should question everything in class. I diagree with this suggestion because primariliy it will result in distraction of whole class. There are a number of reasons for such loss of track.
Firstly, on the bigger picture, it develops distrubance in the class. For example, consider a class in which a teacher starts speaking about the topic and completes just two lines, then one of the students stands up and asks question about the topic in the context that is not targetted by the teacher. In such case, the teacher in response to that children's query may loss track of his lecture, thus cause distrubance to the overall flow of the lecutre.
Secondly, questions before completion of the lecture may cause teachers' plan to be misplaced. This can be justified by taking an example of the programming class. In such class, suppose a teacher is currently talking about the functions that does not return anything, but in between a student asks, Sir what if function needs to return something? However, this obviously can be upcoming plan of the teacher, that may now be covered early, causing distrubance in understanding of whole class.
Finally, on the general side, the minor questions of the students may result in elimination of major details from the lecture. The reason for this is obviously the time constraint. Considering responses to the minor queries of the students, the teacher may end up wasting time in those trivial details. Thus, leading to insufficient time for major tasks.
Therefore, to avoid such time wastage and distrubance in flow of lecture, the teachers should restrict questions in middle of the lecture and should leave some time for question & answer session at the end of the lecture.
