TPO 42 integrated Writing
The reading and the listening materials have a debate on proposed solutions to prevent birds to crash into glass of buildingns. The penman puts forwars 3 main theories that are disapproved by the following orator.
First of all, the writer suggests that usage of one way glasses can resolve the problem. By using this type of material people inside of the building can see out but, birds cannot see inside of the place. However, the speaker views this issue from different angle, according to him, one side glass reflects the image same as a mirror. Hence, birds look at the reflected sky image inside of the mirror and fly into that.
The second point offered by the author is that, making colorful lines and new design on the surface of the glass. The text mentions that by painting some parts of the glass light can go into the building also. Converesly, the lecturer cast doubt on this assumption by saying that birds see the glass as a surface with many holes. On the other hand, if the holes being extremly small there is no light for the room.
Third, the reading passage prposes that a building can be an artificial magnetic field due to helping birds to find their path. Albeit, the professor holds a different prespective by saying that birds using their magnetic system only for long distances and in short distances they are able to see by their eyes.
