This table illustrate the global market share of the notebook computer company between 2006 and 2007.
Overall, Company HP was holding the highest market share among the other companies in the given period. Market share increased in only two companies which were HP and Dell while other companies market share fell. Although Dell and Acer were added together, HP still had the major market share in the years 2006 and 2007.
It is evident that Companies HP held 31.4% Market Share in 2006 and increased 3.6% after 2007 at 34%. Also, Market share of Dell rose up to 20.2% from 16.6% in two years. Similarly, Toshiba slightly grew its market share from 2006 to 2007 which were 6.2% and 7.3% respectively.
On the other hand, most of the company’s market share were declined in 2007. The average market share of the companies, Acer, Lenovo and Others were slightly decreased about 1% between 2006 and 2007. In term of company Fujitsu-Siemens, it was accounted for 4.8%. However, in 2007, its market share went down 2.5% which at 2.3% in 2007.
