It can be seen that Local-fixed line had the highest calls in the UK in the given period time. Starting from about 70b minutes in 1995, Local-fixed line calls increased steadily, to just reaching 90b minutes in 1999. After peaking 90b minutes in 1999, Local-fixed line fell back to 70b minutes until the end of the year.
In term of National and International-fixed line, it grew gradually from approximately 35b to 60b minutes from 1995 to 2002. Moreover, between 2001 and 2002, the number of minutes was merely increase 1b minutes from 60b to 61b minutes.
On the other hand, mobiles were the least calls in the UK over 7 years in question. It is noticeable that the trend of mobiles (all calls) rose up moderately in 1995 to 1999 from about 2b to 12b minutes and doubled from 20b to 40b minutes from 2000 to 2002.
Overall, although the trend of National and international and Mobiles had a significant increase, local-fixed line was still the most popular sort of telephone calls in the UK.
