Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

The three pie charts provided compare the amount of money which a particular school in the UK spent on education in 3 different years, in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
Overall, from 1981 to 2001, there was a fluctuation in all aspects except for an increase in insurance and the major expense was for teachers’ salaries, contrast to the minimum of insurance.
It is apparent from the data that by far the greatest spending was on teachers’ salaries, accounted for 40% in 1981, and this figure rose to a precisely a half in 1991, followed by a slight fall of 5% in 2001. It is interesting to note that the spending on resources had the similar trend throughout 3 periods of time, in 1981, 1991 and 2001, namely 15%, 20% and 9% respectively. In contrast, the money used for furniture and equipment showed a converse trend, with a dramatic fall from 15% in 1981 to 5% in 1991 and more than a forth times increase in size, from 5% in 1991 to 23% in 2001. The second largest proportion in 1981 was other workers’ salaries, namely 28% and it remained in the second place in 1991, however, it dropped to the third place in 2001, being nearly half as much in 1981. Apart from the fluctuate changes in all categories, the amount of money spent on insurance rose from 2% in 1981 to 3% in 1991 and 8% in 2001, yet it remained the least spending of the total spending.
