The figure elucidate the percentages of academic staff in faculties by gender in 2012. At first glance, it is evident that the male staffs are higher than female workers in four different sectors.
To begin with, Male staffs are dramatically higher than women workers in Engineering, which constituted 3 times higher than the total number of women staffs. Moreover, Law, Science and Business additionally have the same pattern in which male staffs, which was approximately at three-fifths, just above 60%, and just over six in ten respectively, are higher than females, which made up at four in ten in Law, just below two-fifths in Science and Business.
Nevertheless, Female workers have an enormous number in Arts, Education and Medicine instead of males. The number of females worker is three times higher than men staffs in Education. Furthermore, It is also been the case for arts, in which females are higher roughly around 15% higher than men. Nevertheless, there was a small difference in the number of worker in medicine in between men and women, which was roughly at well beyond four in ten.
