The map illustrates the alterations of museum between 1957 and 2007. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred in the number of green areas around museum.
To begin with the south part of the museum, the number of green areas, which run alongside the road, and the road to the entrance had been replaced by the car park in 2007. Furthermore, in 2007, the reception was built in the position of entrance in earlier times and the entrance had been moved to the left of the reception. To the right of reception, there was a new café which changed the museum store room in 1957.
In accordance with the north of the museum area, 1957 to 2007 witnessed the alteration of the national history exhibition into the local history room. Moreover, The special exhibitions and the education centre were constructed in 2007 and replaced the size of the plant areas, which were located behind the museum in previous time.
