The line graph illustrates the amount of fish, beef, chicken and lamp consumed in a particular European country over the course of 25 years starting from 1979.
An overview is that the weekly consumption of chicken per person had an upward trend while the reverse was true for fish and other kind of meat. And fish was the least favorite food during this period.
In the beginning year, beef was by far the most popular of these food, at 220 gram which was one and a half that of chicken. After some fluctuations until 1989, the consumption of beef witnessed a gradual decrease to just over 100 gram in 2004. However, there was a significant rise in the figure for chicken eaten during the time given, which finally peaked at approximately 250 gram, becoming dominant food.
Meanwhile, in 1979, the amount of lamb eaten was 150 gram, doubling the statistic of fish. Nevertheless, the consumption of lamb dropped by 100 gram to about 70 gram, while there was a stability in the figure for fish, which ended at 40 gram in 2004.
