The chart provides information about fish and meat consumption in Europe.

Overall, it can be seen that the consumption of chicken increased, while consumption of the other three foods decreased over the period shown.

Looking at the chart in more detail, it is evident that the amount of chicken which was consumed increased from 140grams/person/week(g/p/w) in 1979 to 250g/p/w in 2004. which was the highest point on the chart. In contrast, the consumption of beef decreased from 220g/p/w in 1979 to 100g/p/w in 2004.

Turning to the remaining two data sets, it can be seen that the amount of lamb which was eaten started at 150g/p/w in 1979, and shrank to approximately 60g/p/w in 2004. Consumption of fish showed the smallest change. It decreased from about 60g/p/w to about 40g/p/w over the 25-year period.
