The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.

The line graph given illustrates the information about how many quantities of four categories, namely chicken, beef, lamb and fish which were consumed in a European country over the course of 25 years from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, the figure for chicken had an upward trend, whereas the other numbers declined considerably over the period.
In 1979, as for the consumption of beef, it ranked the highest point, about 220 grams per person compared with the least popular was fish, just only 51 grams. At this point, the numbers of chicken and lamb were similar to 150 grams per person per week.
During the period from 1979 to 2004, there was significant growth in chicken consumption until 2004, it reached a peak at 250 grams. By contrast, the number of both beef and lamb had the same pattern over the 25 years, about 110 grams and 60 grams respectively. Furthermore, a slight decline of fish was seen in the number of consumers by 20 grams, from 60 grams to 40 grams before it saw to remain stable between 1979 and 2004.
