The pie chart presents the discrepancies between six areas in the world relating to how consume a huge amount of water.
It is obvious that whereas both North America and European countries use the highest quantity of water in industrial activities, water plays a crucial role in agricultural development in other places. In addition, water takes the lowest responsibility for domestic purpose, excepted South America.
Regarding the North of America and Europe, the water utilization for industrial use is evaluated to be the majority being 48% and 53% in turn. Moreover, while the proportion of farming to domestic water consumption is three to one in North America, Europe figure is 2.13 to 1.
Moving on 4 other places, agriculture has the highest water exploited being over 70%. However, not included South East Asia, it is such the lowest ratio that South America, Africa and Central Asia industrial activities make use of, being 10%, 7% and 5% respectively. This usage leads to a small minority of water in domestic areas. Concerning the South East of Asia, compared to three others, residents utilize water for domestic purpose rather than industrial use that are 12% and 7% in order.
