The diagram below shows the process of collecting rain water for use in an Australian town.
Given is the diagram illustrating the process by which drinking water is manufactured from collecting rain in an Australian urban area.
Looking at the picture, it is evident that there are a total of 4 main stages involved in the drinking water production process, from the initial raining water collection to the eventual sending drinking water to every house .
Prior to the actual process, it is necessary for water factories to gather raining water falling from a big building’s roof. After that, the water collected flows through small pipes, called drains, to reach a filtering machine, which is the second step. At this point, the filtering stage is to remove solid substances and other materials from rain.
Having been clearly filtered, water is subsequently kept at water storage in factories. The fourth stage is known as water treatment, in which chemicals are added to purify water, ensuring it to be qualified enough. Once the fresh water is ready, it is pumped up via water pipes, available for consumption of every household.
