The visualization given compares the rate of males and females in higher levels of education in Britain in three periods in terms of full-time and part-time schooling.
It is clear that the number of females studying part-time fluctuated over the period, while that of the counterparts went up sharply during the time frame. Besides, the ratio of both men and women taking part in full-time education rose steadily in three periods.
It can be seen that at the beginning of the time frame, males was dominant in terms of part-time education with the figure at 1 million, whereas the mark for women was under 800 thousand. However, the number of males participating in part-time schooling declined steadily to under 900 thousand in the next period before ending the time frame at a high of about 900 thousand. In contrast, the more females joined part-time education in comparison with the previous period, at approximately 850 thousand and increased dramatically to over 1.1 million at the end of the period.
On the other hand, the figures for both men and women getting full-time education raised consistently over the period. At the end of the time frame, nearly the same number of males and females had full-time education.
