The chart and the table illustrate the changes in export earnings from five different categories in one nation between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, it is clear that the value of exports increased in all product categories except Gems and jewellery during 2015 and 2016. In addition, Textiles showed a biggest change.
Looking at the chart and the table in more detail, Petroleum products and Engineered goods accounted for a biggest number of export earnings. Those categories saw an upward trend at 3% and 8,5% respectively over the period shown. In contrast, there was a decrease in Gems and jewellery, over 5% from 43 billions in 2015 to 40 billions in 2016.
Turning to two remaining categories, it is evident that in 2016 export earnings from Agricultural products experienced a slight increase just under 1%, while Textiles increased dramatically from 25 billions to over 30 billions (a 15,24% rise) compared to 2015.
