The graph represents the amount of chicken , beef , lamb and fish that was consumed by each person every week in a european country from 1979 to 2004 .
Overall, it can be seen that the consumption of beef and lamb was high, but throughout the period given, they decreased gradually while the amount of chicken consumed by european person has significant climb . the consumption of fish remained relatively stable over period .
The highest consumption of meat was from beef (around 220g )in 1979 after this point it dropped to reach around 105g in 2004 . lamb had the same trend of beef consumption which it consumed in large amount at the beginning (exactly 150g) then declined to above 50g .
In terms of chicken , the european people was not significantly prefer it but with time their consumption rose to reach approximately 250g in 2004 . The amount of fish that was consumed in 1979 was more than 50g per person and continued to remain around this value over the given period .
