The graphs below show the annual expenditure of university students in three countries in 2003.
The pie charts illustrates the amount of money consumed by university students every year in country A, B and C in 2003.
Generally, expenditure of students in country A is the highest with US$5,000 per year, followed by country B with less than that amount US$500. student expenditure in country C was considerably lower, at US$1,500 annually.
As can be seen from the charts, students in three countries have a tendency to spend money on accommodation and food, which altogether constituted around 60% of the total expenditure. The distinction is that while students in country A and B consumed more money on accommodation rather than food, those of country C contrasted.
The other expenditure categories fall upon the scope of books, leisure, and others. About 20% of money was used for leisure in country A and B though there was only 12% of that percentage of country C. book was the category where students of country C invested in the most, which accounted for 21% whereas those percentages of country A and B are 3% and 12% respectively.
