the plans below show a public when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today
The depicted pictures illustrate the comparison of the Granage Park between the established year in 1920 and at present.
Generally, it is apparently observed from the images that the current layout of the park stays remained as the first day. In addition to that, another entrance for the car park has been erected underground on the bottom right corner. There are a lot of adjustments as well as new functions which have been added to the park.
As was the case in 1920, there are still two main entries in the center of the northern and southern borders of the park. At the heart, the former fountain was completely dismantled. Instead, a new square garden of roses is constructed, which is surrounded by four seats benches on all four sides. There was another rose garden on the top left of the park which has been still intact since the first day.
Currently, the old musical stage on the day is improved dramatically and refurbished to the amphitheater for concerts, that stands on the left of the central rose garden. Beside that, some constructors have been destructed such as two other gardens, glasshouses and ponds. As a substitute, new children playground, water feature and cafe have been constructed at different parts of the Grange.
