The provided graph illustrates the proportion of tourists visiting a specific Caribbean island from the year 2010 until 2017.
Overall, visitors staying on cruise ship are gradually increasing throughout the period, while tourists who are staying on island experienced some fluctuations during these years and it declined in the end of period to be lower than people who stay on cruise ship.
First of all, visitors on cruise ship started about 250,000 in 2010 and rose to half million in the year 2011. Although It has been declined in 2012 to around 250,000 tourists, it surged significantly over the period until it reached to 2 million of visitors in 2017.
On the other hand, visitors staying in island were much higher than on cruise ship as it begins with 1.5 million visitor in 2010 and continue with the same range until 2011, then it gradually increased until it get stabled in the number of tourists as it hit 1.5 million in 2013 and remained stabled with the same stage until 2015, however it decreased to approximately 1.25 million in 2016 it goes back to 1.5 in the year 2017.
In total, visitors began with 1 million and the island shows a significant majority of tourists during 8 years until it hit 3.5 million in the end of the period 2017.
