The line graph gives data on the number of train commuters in Sydney from 1995 to 2004.
The total number of train users had a gradual increase from 1995 to 2004, while it hit its highest point in 2001. However, in 2002 and 2003, there was a drop in their numbers.
According to the figures, after the initial increase of around 10 millions from 1995 to 1996, the train system witnessed a short period of stability and the number of those who chose trains as a means of transport remained unchanged for a year. Before its considerable growth of nearly 40 millions and reaching its highest peak in 2001, it had risen gradually from approximately 206 to 280 millions from 1999 to 2000. There was a continuous rise before reaching its peak. However, the number of train commuters experienced a sharp decline for a next year. And after that for three consecutive years it did not have any marked changes; it fell slightly and then remain stable for a final year.
In conclusion, the number of train users had a considerable improvement from 1995 to 2004.
