The graph provides information about the average living years of various regions in Asia between 1950 and 2300.
In general, all areas increased wildly in terms of life expectancy in which "other Eastern Asia group" was slightly higher than the others. The Other Eastern Asia region has raised dramatically between 1950 and 2000, starting from around 55 years old to just under 80 years old. The figures in South-eastern Asia, Western Asia and China also soared up to around 70 years old, meanwhile, India and Other South-central Asia region was slightly lower 60 years old.
At the moment, most regions life expectancy has slowed down a little while the rank of each region remains unchanged. However, all figures are expected to continue going up and Other Eastern Asia average age is projected to reach a high expectation of about 85 years old by 2050 and end up at over 100 by 2300. Between now and 2300, China is set to excess most regions and it is forecast to hit its peak at approximately 95 years old by the end of the period, whereas all of the other areas such as India, Western Asia, South-eastern Asia and other south-central Asia will go up to 90 years old.
Overall, life expectancy has increased significantly from the past to now and it is likely to keep increasing gradually in the future and creates a huge gap with 1950. Except for China and Other eastern Asia where the figures surpass 95 years old, most regions are predicted to rise to around 90 years old by the year 2300.
