The column chart below indicates the frequency American had consumed fast food in restaurants over the 10-year period, from 2003 to 2013. It is apparent that the proportion of people choosing junk food once a week and once a month overweighted other choices.
Initially, the rate of eater never of daily having fast food experienced the similar results over the period surveyed, under 5% in all 3 years recorded, 2003, 2006 and 2013. Moreover, the number of guests visited junk food restaurants a few times a year in 2006 and 2013 witnessed the same figures. Otherwise, the data analysed that people used these food several times a week in same years saw a contrast tendency. In comparison with 2006, the number of consumers in 2013 recorded the lower statistics, around 15%.
The biggest proportion among all figures surveyed belonged to the number of people chose to have junk food once or twice a month in 2013, more than one-third. Compared with the lowest rate, which is the total of people consumed fast food every day, the biggest one was approximately seventh. However, the number of people decided to go to the fast food restaurants once or twice per month in 2006 witnessed the lowest statistics among three years recorded, around one-fourth.
