The bar graph compares the amount of time spent on local-fixed, national and international-fixed lines, and mobiles in the UK, over a span of 7 years.
Overall, local-fixed line saw a fluctuation in the call minutes while other two types of call, witnessed an upward trend between 1995 and 2002.
In 1995 ,the number of phone calls using local fixed line stood at about 73 billions. Between 1995 and 1999 this type of call saw a steady increase by 20 billion minutes. Although, by the final ,year this call type had experience a noticeable decrease by the same amount, it was the most popular over this period.
The other two types of call, national and international fixed line and mobile calls saw a rise by approximately 25 and 35 billion minutes respectively. The minutes of mobile phone calls went up significantly, between 1999 and 2001 ,after seeing a slight grows in the first four years, but by the final year it fell by 10 billions whereas national and international-fixed line experienced a steady growth over the same period of time.
