The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007.
The given line graph illustrated the number of foreign people who visited three particular places in a European nation during a period from 1987 to 2007.
Overall, the number of visitors in three different areas had big changes throughout the period. At first, the coast was the best choice for most people. By contrast, mountains and lakes were less common than the aforementioned option.
In 1987, the figures that people chose the coast to visit was the biggest with 40 thousand visitors; while mountains and lakes were as not popular as the coast, about 20 thousand and 10 thousand visitors respectively.
Five years later, in 1992, the number of people who visited the coast took a nosedive by a few thousand, which was followed by approximately 75 thousand visitors in 2007. From 1987 to 1997, the attraction of the mountains became bigger, climbed to thousand, but later, this area had a plateau between 1992 to 2002. After that, that choice gradually rose to about 35 in 2007. There was a significant upward trend of the visitors who interested in lakes, followed by just around 75 thousand visitors in a long time from 1987 to 2002 but then, this region speedy dropped to 50 thousand in 2007.
