A glance at the bar chart provided reveals the striking similarities in the figures for hours each teacher spent teaching in alternative schools in 4 countries, namely Japan, Spain, Iceland and the U.S.A in the year of 2001.
Overall, it is clear from the graph that the number of hours that each teacher spent educating in the U.S.A was the highest, while quantity of hours devoted by each teacher in upper secondary school was the most popular. In contrast, the lowest figure belonged to that in Japan.
When it comes to the number of hours of educating spent by each teacher in upper secondary school, it is evident that the U.S.A took the lead. accounting for nearly 1200, followed by Spain and Iceland, numbering 900. Making up approximately 700, Japan ranked third.
The figures for hours spent by each teacher on education in lower secondary primary school was considerably lower than that of upper secondary school. To specify, there were about 1000 hours spent in lower secondary school in the U.S.A, whereas fewer hours devoted in primary school Spain and U.S.A, claiming 610 hours. It is also noticeable that Spain and Japan followed the former, with 750 and 610 hours respectively, while contributing 600, Japan followed behind the latter. Only a relative small 600 and 590 hours was seen in lower secondary and primary school separately in Iceland.
