The given chart provides a comparison of the number of teaching hours in 4 different countries (Japan, Spain, Ireland, and the USA) in the year 2001.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that upper-secondary has the highest teaching hours in the four countries.
Looking at the chart for more details, it can be seen that, in Japan, the number of teaching hours in Upper-secondary was the highest, about 700. The figures for Lower-Secondary and Primary were lower, at precisely 600, respectively. In Spain, the figure for Upper-Secondary was highest, at nearly 1000, while the figures for Lower-Secondary and Primary were lower, and shared the number with the figure for
that in Japan.
For the rest of the chart, in Ireland, the teacher spent about 800 hours in Lower-Secondary, and spent over 600 and precisely 600 for Upper-Secondary, and Primary, respectively. The number of teaching hours in Upper-Secondary was the highest in the USA and among the four countries, at about 1100. In addition, the figures for Lower-Seondary were lower, over 1000. The figure for Primary, however, accounted for the lowest number, about 900.
