As can be seen from the pie chart, environmental, sport and health care witnessed an upward trend. On the contrary, some charts are educational, art and others experienced a decrease between 2008 and 2014.
The percentage of helpers in the environment experienced a constant rise from 21% to 29% and led the way in 2014, which was followed by sports, reaching the highest point of 25% and 2nd place. On the other hand, the candy striper of art slightly decreased and accounted for around 12% at the end of the period.
Although candy stripers in health care had a downward trend, they ranked at the bottom, at close to 8%. Similar to unpaid workers in education and the other sector, the number of unpaid workers decreased by approximately 7%, ending at 17% and 9%, respectively.
