The charts show average levels of participation and the highest education level of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.
The approximated levels of participation in education were displayed in a chart. The chart also shows the largest educational stage for grownups in Singapore from 2000 to 2010.
It is obvious that the biggest number of years spent in school for adults is in 2008 and in 2010. The hugest number for participators in education changed from high school qualifications in 2000 to university qualifications in 2010.
In 2000 the average number of years for adults had the least percentage in 2000 and 2002 for both males (just over 8 and just below 10 respectively) and females (by 8 in both years). The rate increases slowly year after year. Until it reaches its maximum in 2008 and 2010 for males (just over 10 and just under 12 respectively) and for females (just over 8).
For participators in education in 2000 the majority were high school qualifications by just over a third and secondary school qualifications by approximately one quarter. In contrast, the
minimum percentages were for university qualifications by 8.3% and master qualifications by 7.5%. However, in 2010 university and master qualifications jumped to become 32% and 30% respectively. In addition, secondary school qualifications and primary school qualifications got the least percentages by less than a fifth and an insignificant amount respectively.
