Overall, while the average percentage of sodium and saturated fat was the largest at dinner, snacks were observed as the time that people consumed added sugar the most. Additionally, the figures for these nutrients were not significant in the morning.
Regarding sodium, 14% of this nutrient was seen in both breakfast and snacks, 29% in lunch, and 43% in dinner, making it to the most commonly consumed meal. Looking at the consumption of saturated fat, it was observed that this chemistrical element was utilized up to 37% in dinner, but just 26% at lunch, 21% for snacks, and less than 20% for breakfast.
Entering the final nutrient. A large percentage of extra sugar was used in snacks, with 42%, while the figure seemed to be lower at dinner (23%) and was not significant at both breakfast and lunch, with 16% and 19% respectively.
