Summarise the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they cast doubt on specific points made in the reading passage.
The main idea of both reading and lecture is about different kinds of a medical record. With this mind, the author points the idea that record of documents in electrical databases has several benefits over the paper base record. The lecturer refutes this claim, casting doubt on every single point made by the author.
First, the article asserts that the use of electronic records can reduce costs by saving money on storing and transporting the documents. Conversely, the professor brings up the idea that the advantage of electrical records is uncertain. Also, she states that keeping paper in the emergency condition is a really important matter in medical science. Thus, all off doctors have to keep these papers.
Second, the reading passage argues that electrical records are essential to decreasing the errors during recording. On the other hand, the speaker underlines that many doctors have a pen and paper to take note of the patients' condition. Afterward, the staff and nurses record these documents.
Finally, the passage holds the view that the electrical records are a vital point in the research and universities. In contrast, the professor dismisses the idea due to the fact that medical records and information in the US are really protected. Also, there are much-complicated policies for access to patients' documents. Thus, this reason is inconvenient.
