At the request of Sevda Babayeva, it is such an immense pleasure that I offer this letter of recommendation in support of her application for admission to scholarship program at your esteemed University.I have known Ms.Sevda Babayeva for more than four years as a student at the Baku State University. She has taken the following courses which I taught:
● Introduction to Linguistics
● Linguistic Typology
As a teacher, this time period gave me more opportunities to determine the Sevda’s knowledge of subject matter and to observe her study skills, analytical abilities and punctuality. Within this period, I was fascinated with her study performance and results of her readiness to all seminars and perfect preparation for research thesis. In every lecture, she came to lesson with crucial and debatable questions related to lecture topics, and was very keen interest to solve them and to find innovative approaches. She did various analyses of languages and precisely applied all tasks related to subject. As a result of all her efforts, she has managed to gain a score of 92 from 100 in Linguistic Typology in examination. Frankly writing, all her active attendance in my lesson, comprehensive knowledge in different areas and discipline have given me a right to express my support and pleasure about her in order to be admitted by your University. I am definitely sure that she also will be successful at her next education step, after returning to Azerbaijan she will sign precious work in her study sphere and work career.
In other words, she is very dynamic, determined and ambitious student in terms of gaining achievements in her studies.Her information assimilating ability is quite high, therefore she is able to grasp complete course of any studies related to her major. Her main target is to be a highly competitive and qualified student and to continue her education and to gain lots of success in this way. In addition she has qualitative traits; she is a trusting, considerate and kind person. Therefore she is able to create friendly environment in any situation.
Additional to her noticeable activities in my lesson, I know that she is very talented student in doing research about language issues and has qualitative academic writing skills. Her academic approaches, patience and ability prove that she will obtain considerable achievements in her prospective academical path, and contribute her home country.
It is also worth to mention that Sevda has been a part of four international researcher conferences where he represented our university.This made her a more with high analytical ability person who can expresses her new ideas easily.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Sevda to you with full confidence. All my experience with her gives me full right to say that she is a true person that you can invest her education without any hesitation. I have no doubt she will achieve all her aims in this sphere, and obtain new skills, knowledges. I think she is a quite suitable candidate for your master program.
