You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course.
You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your teachers. In your letter
describe the situation
explain why you cannot continue at this time
say what action you would like to take
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Mr. Samuel,
I am writing to inform you that I have been having a really fun time learning with you. Learning to play the guitar could not have been half as much fun without you being there to guide me.
However, my company has accepted a six month project with a company based in France and this is something that I always wanted to be a part of. This project is very dear to me and I was thrilled the second I was told to be a part of the team and so accepted the offer immedieatly. This dream project that I am a part of now, will require more of my time and focus which means I will have to work even after my regular working hours. This will clash between our classes.
Hence I would request you to terminate my course on an immedieate basis. Although, I would really look forward to join your summer batch next year. I shall get in touch with you soon.
Yours sincerely.
Harbani Kaur Bhamra
