You have just received a credit card statement from your bank. The statement lists a number of expensive purchases that you are sure you did not make.
Write a letter to the bank manager. In the letter:
• Introduce yourself.
• Explain that you did not buy the items listed.
• Say what you would like the bank to do to fix the problem
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my concerns related to the credit card statement for the current month.
My name is Shwatank Bhasin, and I am using your Bank's credit card that you had issued me for the past five years. I received a credit card statement of the current month where I found out that there was a list of electronic items such as the Dell Laptop Model X05 and Samsung earbuds 2.1 which had been brought from my credit card. However, I never purchased those items from any store or shopped online.
The statement shows that I bought the electronic gadgets on the 22nd of March, 2021. Certainly, I did not buy those items, and I want you please look into this matter as soon as possible.
I would request you to please search the root source of payments done. I have enclosed my current credit card statement with this letter for your reference. Plus, I urge you to reform my credit card statement, and please do not include any late fee fine as I am not going to pay until the issue is resolved.
I am looking forward to hearing a positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Shwatank Bhasin
