The first graph shows the number of train passengers from 2000 to 2009; the second compares the percentage of trains running on time and target in the period.
Write a description of the two graphs and make comparisons with at least 150 words.
The first diagram illustrates the percentage of commuters using train service from 2000 to 2009, and the second line graph indicates time reliability meets the target set up in the same period.
Overall, the number of passengers commuting by the railroad has an upward trend in 10 years and it peaks in 2005 instead of in 2009. Meanwhile, time reliability also shows the fluctuant trend from 2000 to 2009 but it peaks and remains at the highest point in 2008 onwards. Moreover, from 2003 to 2004, the proportion of passengers is directly proportional to the result of trains running on time when they increase the number and are beyond the target at the same time.
As can be seen from the first graph, numerous train commuters were not stable during the first 4 years and in 2003 stayed at the lowest point associated with the data in 2000 at 35 million. From 2003 to 2005 witnessed a dramatic increase and the number of passengers peaked at the highest point at 46 million. However, in 2005 onwards, it slightly dropped down until 2008 stood at 40 million and gradually grew to 42 million in the last year. Although the data showed a slight increase in 2009, it was far lower than the indicator in 2005.
The data from the second graph indicate that the results were beyond the target from 2002 to middle of 2004 and the beginning of 2008 onwards. The peak of the glory in 2008 is at 96% and it stabilized till 2009. Moreover, the other period of time witnessed the results were below the target and stood at the lowest position in 2000 and 2006 at 92%.
