The line graph gives information about how many tourists pay a visit to a certain Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017. Overall, the total number of tourists traveling to the Caribbean island witnessed a considerable growth over 7 years, while the figure for visitors staying on cruise ships was lower than that for visitors staying in island for the most of the period.
In 2010, there are 0,25 million of people choosing cruise ships, which is one third the number of those who stayed on island. Over the following 2 years, after increasing to 0.5 million people, the number of visitors opting for cruise ships dropped to hit its lowest point of 0,25 million people. In contrast, the figure for visitors staying on island grew considerable to 1.25 million people, therefore the total number also increased to 1,5 million people. From 2012 to 2017, the number of travelers choosing cruise ships witnessed a dramatic change to reach a peak of 2 million people, while the data of those who chose to stay on island fluctuated and finally stood at 1.5 million in 2017. The total number for both two types peaked at 3.5 million at the end of the period shown.
