The Proportions of Pupils Attending Four Secondary School Types Between Between 2000 and 2009.
The table compares the proportions of students who attended four different types of secondary schools; specialist schools, grammar schools, voluntary-controlled schools, and community school, in the 2000, 2005, and 2009 school years.
Overall, the community school is the only school in which her proportions increases over time, compared to the tree other schools in which all of their proportions decreases during the tree school years.
In fact, the community schools had the lowest proportion of students, compared to the tree other schools, with 12% of students who attended it in 2000. But in 2005, this proportion increases 20%. And finally, it continued to increase until it reached 58% in 2009, which is the highest proportions of students of all these tree schools.
Unlike the community schools, the proportions of the tree other schools decreases over time.
In particular, the voluntary-controlled schools who had the highest proportion of students of all tree schools in 2000, which was 52% of students, and this proportion decrease in 2005 and it went to 28%, but it was still the highest proportion compared to others in that year. But unfortunately, the proportion continues to decrease until in 2009 these schools lose their place in the highest proportion of students. The specialist schools and the grammar school decreases also during these tree school years, because the grammar schools decrease 12% and the specialist schools decrease 2%.
